This photo is part of my on going work with waterfowl in Israel and south east Asia , the green shank is arriving in Israel on the fall , some of the population stay for the winter, and some are keep on migrating to Africa and after back through Israel to Europe , the greenshank is one of the largest of the sandpiper specious that migrate to Israel, and it Accor on a wide geographical area .
