This is another shot from my work with waterfowl and dunlins in Israel ponds, dunlin are very vocal during their flights, they feed on ponds invertebrate , and like most specious of waterfowl they migrate a long way and very fast from the north hemisphere to the south, their is many sub specious to most of the species depend on the area they live, every sub specious have small different characteristic .
during the long migration from their breeding sites they need to stop in some area, this places called resting stop, sometime for 1 night sometime more.
Israel is a major resting point for many specious, some for 1 night, some for few nights, some for 3 weeks, and some for few months .
