This shot show a technic in birds photography to draw birds to the photographer , in this shot I was working with water birds and song birds near a pond in Israel valley , and to attract the king fisher to me I use a branch that I prepare before to draw him to me , this technic in combine with other wildlife photography aspect you need to maintained is not easy to create ,
there is many thing to consider in order for this to succeed in the bird specious you work with will eventually come to you, some time it can take long time for birds to get use to the new object in the field and trust enough to try it, after all they already have their own branches they use to .
