This shot is part of my work with birds in Israel and in this case a project with francolins males and females , the black francolin is belong to the family Phasianidae ( pheasants ) and it inhabit a large geographical area in the middle east and west Asia from Israel to Afghanistan .
it is a very shy specious , and the work for finding wait them on the photography location can be long and not easy, but they are beautiful specious especially the male, and the territorial call of the male is very interesting and strong .
this shot show the female in the sunset “glowing in the dark” compeer to the dark Acacia vegetation behind it .
