This photo is from my work with little grebes in Israel, little grebes are the smallest of the grebes family , little grebes are stable and breeding in Israel,
they tend to live mostly on ponds that have at list 1 meter depth of water , and to eat outside of the breeding session only plant material , in the breeding session they dive ( they are excellent divers) also fro fish and toad .
