This is another shot from my worke with little greebs in Israel ponds, here also in winter phase, little grebes are very small 22- 23 cm and they tend not to come close enough to the shore of a pond because they very shy and prefer area where there is at list 1 meter depth , that is why is very hard to portrait and document them from very close.
there is a need for very long focal length lens most of the time or a lot of patient and work with them. until the opportunity arrive .
