This shot show the beautiful white breasted kingfisher from a session I did with it on a perch I set for it before the start of the shooting day , for it to come directly to the place I sit in a hide and wait for it.
this technic is great but it not always work so easy and sometime need to wait few days before the specious get use to the set you made for it and come to you .
this shot is near a pond where the kingfisher is feeding most of the time, but.. white breasted kingfisher is not a typical kingfisher and he feed many time also fur from water and on reptiles and small mammals and not always fish .
