This shot has been taken in north Israel salt ponds, an extensive population of the small white heron is winter in Israel , and can be seen also in the fall and spring , on migration there is always stronger and weaker specimen that stay shorter or longer time on the migration area to feed and gain strength before continue , this is why many specimen can been seen on a longer period of time .
